All of my Group Baby First Aid courses are available face to face across Birmingham, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield. If you can't attend in person, I also offer private one-to-one courses in your home face to face or online via Zoom, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you.

Whichever option you choose, you'll receive the same professional teaching, practical advice and opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Babies in arms are very welcome to attend with their parents.

• £40 per couple

• £22.50 per person

 

Private Courses

• Face to face: £120 (up to four people)

• Online via Zoom: £75

If your baby suddenly started choking...
If your toddler stopped breathing...

Would you know what to do while waiting for the ambulance?

 

Thankfully, these situations are uncommon, but they can happen when you least expect them, and most accidents involving young children do happen in or around the home.

My aim isn't to frighten you. It's to make sure that if the unexpected ever happened, you'd feel calmer, more prepared and know exactly what to do.

 

What will I learn?

During this friendly and practical two-hour course you'll learn how to recognise and respond to some of the most common childhood emergencies, including:

• Baby and child CPR

• Choking

• Recovery position

• Unresponsive baby or child

• Head injuries

• Burns and scalds

• Bleeding

• Febrile seizures and high temperatures

• Meningitis awareness

• When to call 999

• How to stay calm in an emergency

 

There is plenty of opportunity to practise techniques on the training manikins, ask questions and build your confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment. By the end of the course, my aim is that you'll leave feeling informed, reassured and much more confident in your ability to help your baby or child should an emergency ever arise.
