Hello, and welcome! I'm Caron Millard, a Registered Midwife and Paediatric First Aid Trainer with over 36 years of experience caring for babies, children and families.
After spending my career supporting families and caring for babies, including those needing emergency resuscitation at birth—I know just how quickly emergencies can happen. Thankfully they're rare, but knowing what to do in those first few moments can make all the difference.
That's why I created Baby Safe First Aid.
My courses are designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to stay calm and act quickly should your baby or child ever need you. They're friendly, relaxed and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practise life-saving techniques in a supportive environment.
Whether you're expecting your first baby, already have young children, or you're a grandparent or carer wanting to update your skills, you'll be made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. No previous experience is needed,just a willingness to learn.
All face-to-face courses are personally taught by myself and held regularly across Birmingham, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield. I also teach private courses face to face at your home or live online private courses via Zoom, should you prefer a more personal course, making them accessible to families throughout the UK and overseas.
My goal is simple: to help every parent and carer leave feeling more prepared, more confident and better equipped to deal with an emergency if the unexpected should ever happen.
